Registration is now open for the 2019 summer camp in the section below.

Acting Against Cancer is proud to offer a summer camp at its rehearsal space at ArtSpace, 323 W. Broadway. For the Summer 2019 program, AAC will be offering a camp for both elementary and middle schoolers. The camp will begin Monday, June 17, and culminate with performances that weekend. Camp will run each day that week 9:30AM-4:00PM and will see students enjoy musical theatre instruction, including complex choreography, in-depth music study and robust acting work.

While any child may participate, the AAC summer camp is completely free to children touched by cancer. If you know a child in this situation who may enjoy exploring the creative outlet of theatre, please email

During this one-week summer day camp, students will be immersed in the full production of a musical. With our instructors, they will collaborate as a team to audition and then rehearse “High School Musical 2 JR.” They will work on all aspects of on stage performances including acting, singing and dancing while also learning about what happens behind the scenes with lighting, set, prop and costume design work. The camp will run each day of the week with performances of the cumulative show taking place that weekend for friends and family.
