Kids Fall Registration: Middle School

During this semester-long after school program, students grades six through nine will be immersed in the full production of a musical. With our instructors, they will collaborate as a team to audition and then rehearse FROZEN JR. They will work on all aspects of on stage performances including acting, singing and dancing while also learning about what happens behind the scenes with lighting, set, prop and costume design work. Middle school classes will meet Mondays and Wednesdays from 4 to 6 p.m., and the cumulative performances for friends and family will be December 6, 7 and 8.

Acting Against Cancer is proud to offer an after school program at its rehearsal space at ArtSpace, 323 W. Broadway. For the Fall 2018 semester, AAC will be offering two programs – one for elementary schoolers (grades two through five) and one for middle schoolers (grades six through nine), with both companies working on their own production of FROZEN JR. The term will begin Monday, September 9 and culminate with performances December 6, 7 and 8. Classes for elementary schoolers will meet Tuesdays and Thursdays from 4 to 6 p.m., and those for middle schoolers will meet Mondays and Wednesday from 4 to 6 p.m. The program will see students enjoy musical theatre instruction, including complex choreography, in-depth music study and robust acting work.
While any child may participate, the AAC after school program is completely free to children touched by cancer. If you know a child in this situation who may enjoy exploring the creative outlet of theatre, please email
